Corsair To Ship Force GT 150 SSD For $149 And Up

An unfortunate trend related to SSDs: companies announce them, but they don’t tell us anything about an expected price and release date. That’s no way to be! But for whatever reason, getting specific details surrounding solid state drives has been an immense challenge Corsair is a company known for cutting-edge gear, and thankfully, they can also be known as a company to buck this trend. They just announced that their hot-red Force GT 150 SSD will be doing the unthinkable by going on sale this month, and for a price that even the casual enthusiast may be able to justify.

It uses the new SandForce SF-2280 SSD Processor, with native support for SATA 6Gb/s (SATA 3), combined with ONFI synchronous flash memory. Read more…

HP TouchPad Tablet launches in the UK on July 15

HP has plans to unveil the new webOS TouchPad Tablet on the UK Market on July 15th. It is presently available on the US market but UK customers will be getting a taste of the new webOS starting July 15. It features a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a 1024768 native resolution, it comes in two version a 16GB model that goes for £399 and a 32GB model that will go for £479.

Other specifications of the HP TouchPad includes 1.2 GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, a front-facing 1.3-megapixel webcam, Beats Audio stereo speakers, a compass, a gyroscope, a light sensor, an accelerometer, a microUSB port and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. <
