HP RELEASES ITS TOUCHSMART TM2T TABLET NOTEBOOKS


HP has released its latest series of consumer-oriented tablets called the TouchSmart tm2t. The tm2t tablets are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) processors. The ATI Radeon graphics is provided as an optional feature.

The TouchSmart tm2t is available with a six-cell battery. It weighs 4.72 pounds.

Detailed specs are as follows:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo processors (SU7300 1.3GHz, SU9600 1.6GHz)
Graphics: Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics or
Memory: Up to 8GB DDR3 RAM
Storage: 160-500 GB 7200RPM hard drives

ooVoo Video Conferencing Review

ooVoo is a client and service that allows you to chat online with other people over your webcam and microphone — largely for free. Does ooVoo have what it takes to depose Google Video Chat or is it just another pretender? We break it down in this review.

As far as I’m concerned, Google Video Chat is the only incumbent that needs to be dethroned for general consumer video-conference usage. Dell Alienware M15x and M17x Updated with Core i5, i7

Dell has refreshed several members of its gaming oriented Alienware notebooks with the latest dual and quad core CPUs from Intel.

The 15.6″ M15x and 17″ M17x will now both be available with the dual core i5-520M, i5-540M and i7-620M CPUs. For those seeking quad core options, the i7-720QM, i7-820QM and i7-920XM are now available on both models as well.

Toshiba’s New Universal Laptop Docking Station

At the Consumer Electronic Show, Toshiba unveiled a new universal laptop docking station. The Dynadock V, the newest member of the company’s Dynadock docking station family, is affordable and said to be a huge improvement over the Dynadock U, which came before it.
