From The Terminator to Twins?!

Who thinks a sequel to the uber-mediocre 80’s comedy Twins is a good idea?



Yes, it is somewhat of a rhetorical question, especially because I’m wondering what on earth the denizens of Hollywood were smoking when they greenlit this, and can they pass it my way? 

Reviving a comedy that wasn’t that funny to begin with is a bad idea, but adding Eddie Murphy to the mix is pure suicide.

This news came out right before April Fools day so this is clearly no joke, but as Cinema Blend tells us, this has been in the works since last summer when reports hit that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito could possibly get back together again.

Scissors confiscated by the TSA turned into spiders

If spiders arent your cup of tea, this is one of those articles that could either help you overcome your fear or send you running for the hills. The metal spider pictured above was created by mechanical artist Christopher Locke who formed them out of scissors that were confiscated at airports by the TSA.

I dont know about you, but when I see a pair of barber shears, I am not thinking about creating a creepy-yet-awesome sculpture out of them. Locke on the other hand transforms the discarded metal into some startling mechanical imagery. You can almost see the spider pictured above getting ready to dine on the bug its holding captive.

‘Girls Around Me’ Developer Defends App After Foursquare Dismissal

The developer of a controversial mobile app that used data from Facebook and Foursquare to reveal the location of nearby women defended its intentions Saturday after drawing a firestorm of criticism over privacy concerns.

On Saturday, Foursquare cut off access to the Girls Around Me app that made it possible to view the location of women on a map and their publicly available data and photographs from Facebook. Foursquare said the app violated a policy against aggregating information across venues.
