When hes not on geeks minds as Jean-Luc Picard or Professor X, Patrick Stewart is busy expressing his sentiments on Twitter eloquently:

I dont tweet. Ive never twittered. And, its not that Im resisting it, but I see no reason to have it in my life. To reduce life to how many? 140 just seems to me a little bit simplistic. Maybe I like complexity and abstraction too much.

But dont you dare call Stewart an old-fogey, at least when youre talking about technology. Patrick uses an iPhone and a laptop (unspecified), and absolutely loves them. The famous actor also expressed amazement at how gadgets and online services have made his life so much easier, and even shared his non-apparent passion for gaming. I have a stack of games. Ive never taken the covers off them, because I feel that if I do, Im finished.
