The HP Mini 1103 probably doesn’t have a milkshake that will bring all the boys to the yard, but when it lacks is stylish flair is makes up for in essentials. This long-lasting system boasts a good keyboard and decent performance. The price tag isn’t too bad, either: $299. The trade-off’s are few: no clickpad, no dual-core Atom, no fancy patterns on the lid. But where it really counts, the Mini 1103 delivers.
