Gigabyte Releases T1028X Touchscreen Netbook

Gigabyte has announced a new touchscreen netbook convertible dubbed T1028X. It’s an upgrade to already available T1028M. The netbook is equipped with 10.1″ LED-backlit resistive touchscreen with 1366×768 screen resolution.

It includes the Intel Atom N280 Processor along with 1 GB of RAM and a 160 GB Hard Disk. Graphics is handled by Intel GMA 950. It’s equipped with a 6-cell 7650 mAh battery that can give up to six and a half hours of battery life. It also gives option of integrated HSDPA. There is also an Express Card 54 slot included along with Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth. It has a large full keyboard and bright screen. The included mousepad also has multi-touch capability and netbook is fully compatible with Windows 7 touchscreen support. It’s available for sale in Europe for around €622 ($877).
