Lenovo had the new 11.6″ IdeaPad U150 on display at the CEATEC expo in Japan. The laptop sports a CULV CPU and a size and weight that will make it an attractive ultraportable notebook.
Official word from Lenovo is slim, but a retailer called Xmit is already selling the notebook and had a list of some specifications. The notebook – which is merely 0.53″ thick and a hair under 3lbs – will feature an Pentium SU4100 1.3GHz CPU with integrated GMA X4500 graphics. There will be 2GB DDR3 RAM, a 250GB HDD, and an LED backlit resolution of 1366×768.
As far as connectivity and other features, the notebook will feature 3USB ports, VGA and HDMI, a multi-card reader, an integrated webcam, and a multi-touch trackpad. The 6-cell battery is rated to last approximately 7 hours. The computer currently comes packaged with Windows Vista Home Basic.
Estimated price is in the vicinity of $770 for this new portable from Lenovo. Availability is not yet certain.
