SMQ 4012 AVIATION BOOK: SMALL AND SLOW BUT DIRT CHEAP

There is no denying that laptops are getting cheaper and cheaper. Nowadays you can pick up a decent machine for under $600. These machines are both portable and usable and they won’t burn a hole in your market. But just in case, you were looking for something way cheaper, well, that is available too.

Take, for instance, the SMQ 4012 Aviation Book. This machine is slow but it is dirt-cheap. It has a 7 inch display with 800 x 480 pixels. The little device is powered by a VIA VT8500 ARM-based processor clocking at just 400MHz. 128MB of RAM and 2GB of storage is available. The SMQ Aviation run Windows CE and weighs around 1.4 pounds. The machine sells for 85 Euros or about $122.It is not available in the US yet.
