Who wants to play UFC Undisputed 2010 tomorrow?

THQ is preparing for its May release of UFC Undisputed 2010 with a treat for loyal community members: A demo, which hits tomorrow on both PS3 and Xbox 360, will give fighting fans a taste of the game a month in advance. The demo isn’t a public release, though; you’ll have to register for the community to gain early access.

The demo is a bit meatier than last year’s, too. You’ll get to tinker with four returning fighters — Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Rashad Evans — in exhibition matches or local multiplayer tournaments. You may need to register with the community before release to get access, so you should probably get on that just in case.

Mitch’s Opinion

I must have played the UFC 2009 Undisputed demo for four or five hours last year. It was such a refreshing addition to the genre, but it was the brutality and authenticity of the sport echoed in the game that clicked with me. I fell in love immediately, and ended up scoring it incredibly high when I reviewed it. I’m anxious as all get out to see what the follow-up has to offer, and to see how fighters  like Lyoto and Jackson have changed. Four fighters rather than last year’s two makes the demo’s tournament mode more interesting as well. I’ll be signing up immediately. I need to clobber my pals as soon as possible.
