Sprint Confirms Tethering Data Cap Coming October 2nd

Well, we all knew it had to come to an end at some point. With the other major U.S. carriers doing away with truly unlimited data months ago, Sprint was attempting to hold out and use that as a competitive advantage. But evidently, even they are starting to cave. Sprint recently confirmed that they will soon introduced a data ceiling for their mobile hotspot add-on for smartphone users. Before, hotspot subscribers would be able to pay $29.99 monthly for unlimited tethering, be it 3G or 4G (depending on phone). But starting on October 2nd, that will be truly capped at 5GB. Hard Reset PC FPS gets a release date, system requirements breakdown

Polish developer Flying Wild Hog confirms a September 13 release date and system requirements for its upcoming dark sci-fi FPS for PCs, Hard Reset.

Youve got to hand it to Flying Wild Hog, the Polish developer behind Hard Reset. No one had ever heard of the upcoming first-person shooter for PC platforms until mid-July 2011, when a trailer and the first details emerged on what was described as a dark sci-fi FPS in the vein of works like Blade Runner.

iPhone 5 may not be getting that 4-inch screen afterall

Will the iPhone 5 rumors never end?

The latest rumor actually debunks one that we were kind of excited about. It’s being reported that the iPhone 5 won’t have that larger display that we were all looking forward to. DigiTimes cites sources from “upstream panel suppliers,” that say the iPhone 5 will not sport the 4.2-inch screen previously rumored, but instead will stay either with the current 3.5-inch screen size or possibly inch its way up a bit to a 3.7-inch screen. Reports: Asus planning half a dozen Ultrabooks

The first Ultrabooks are due any day now, but reports have Asus planning half a dozen or more models with prices ranging from $799 to $1999.

Intel wants to shake up the personal computer market with new, super-thin and powerful notebooks called Ultrabooks, which the company hopes will account for 40 percent of new PC sales but the end of 2012.
