Moog Gets Cheeky, Releases iPad App Filled With Fart Sounds

Its a dirty little secret that people like to play with their iOS devices while sitting on the toilet. So why not an app that lets you recreate that experience when youre away from the porcelain throne?

Moog Music has released a new extension pack for its Animoog iPad synth that explores the lower end of the sonic spectrum by tapping into the sounds generated by the lower ends of our digestive tracts.

In other words, the company has added fart sounds to the Animoog app.

With a release date of April 1st, its easy to dismiss this as a joke.

‘Girls Around Me’ Developer Defends App After Foursquare Dismissal

The developer of a controversial mobile app that used data from Facebook and Foursquare to reveal the location of nearby women defended its intentions Saturday after drawing a firestorm of criticism over privacy concerns.

On Saturday, Foursquare cut off access to the Girls Around Me app that made it possible to view the location of women on a map and their publicly available data and photographs from Facebook. Foursquare said the app violated a policy against aggregating information across venues.

Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 and 7870 OC Edition Video Card Unboxing
