Vizio, the company that brought you extremely affordable LCD TVs that do not skimp on quality and performance has now announced that they will be dipping their toes into the competitive tablet market in the form of the aptly named Vizio Tablet, which incidentally will also be the first in the Vizio Internet Apps Plus (V.I.A. Plus) ecosystem. This next generation of Vizio Internet Apps will usher about a unified, sophisticated and intuitive user experience over a wide range of consumer electronics devices, where among them include Vizio HDTVs, Blu-ray players, tablets, and smartphones amongst others.

Let us look at the Vizio VTAB1008 tablet in greater detail it will sport an 8 display which is by far and large different from most of the other tablets on the market, as those tend to be in the 7 range or 10 size, depending on the manufacturer.

In the first part of our report on Netflix and the major studios, we explored how obscure movies were being kept alive via streaming and individually burning DVDs.

In the second installment of our three-part series we talk with George Feltenstein of Warner Brothers, and Steve Swasey, spokesperson for Netflix, about how they started reviving obscure films.



But what’s the criteria for a movie to get added to the list, and where do they find what movies audiences demand?   As for the criteria for adding a movie to Netflix, Swasey says they won’t add a movie to the streaming catalog unless it reaches a certain level of queue demand.
