Moog Gets Cheeky, Releases iPad App Filled With Fart Sounds

Its a dirty little secret that people like to play with their iOS devices while sitting on the toilet. So why not an app that lets you recreate that experience when youre away from the porcelain throne?

Moog Music has released a new extension pack for its Animoog iPad synth that explores the lower end of the sonic spectrum by tapping into the sounds generated by the lower ends of our digestive tracts.

Instagram CEO confirms Android app in the works

Fresh from its iPhone App of the Year win, Instagram is hard at work converting the filter-driven photo sharing app over to Google Android.

Instagram, the iOS-only photo sharing app packed with filters to turn your snaps into hipster works of art, was named the iPhone App of the Year by Apple this week; but its exclusivity to the platform will soon come to an end. PhotoForge 2, Possibly the Best iPad Photo Editing App Yet

Photoforge 2 is my new favorite iPad editing app. Photo Charlie Sorrel

IPad-owning photographers should stop reading right now (well, not right now, or you won’t know what to do next) and go download PhotoForge 2, a rather splendid update to the already decent photo-editing app. Better still, if you already bought the iPhone version, the update is free — the app is now universal.
