Lytro has unveiled its revolution in camera technology, it is a completely new type of camera which operates by capturing all the rays of light in the scene unlike other cameras that focus pixels. The camera comes in a compact case that measures 41 mm x 41 mm x 112 mm, it weighs only 7.55 oz (214 g) and was constructed using an extruded anodized aluminum which means it is tough and will protect itself against corrosion.
The Light Field camera comes with an f/2 lens, it has 8x optical zoom and only has two buttons for powering the device and one for the shutter capture.
Panasonic has released a new compact camera called the one Lumix FX90, this new point-and-shoot comes equipped with a 12.1-megapixel Hi-Speed CCD sensor and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity which enables the user to instantly transfer photos to a computer or smartphone. The new FX90 also features a 5x optical zoom, a Venus Engine processor, a 3-inch LCD touchscreen display, O.I.S. 
Leica has introduced a new digital camera which could be described as the twin of the Leica M9 that was introduced sometime back. The Leica M9-P comes equipped with an 18-megapixel CCD image sensor, it comes with a 2.5-inch LCD display which is used to preview captured images, the LCD display comes with an anti-reflective coating and it is also scratch resistant. The Leica M9-P comes with a vulcanite leatherette body finish which allows a much better grip plus it also comes in the classical Leica silver chrome finish or in black. 
In addition to the Exilim EX-ZS10 and EX-ZS5, Casio also announced the Exilim EX-Z2300 Digital Camera that is a 14-Megapixel camera which features a 26mm wide angle 5x optical zoom lens and a combat stylish casing. The Casio Exilim EX-Z2300 also comes with standard features including Premium Auto mode, Dynamic photo function for creating moving images, Art Shot and Art Effect functions. It comes with a 3-inch Super Clear LCD display for previewing captured images plus other specs such as Exilim Engine 5.0 and the Single Frame SR Zoom that extend the the camera’s zoom to 7.5x. N
