Facebook has just launched a new tool that aims to present a clearer and more complete picture of someone based on their years of social activity.
As it stands now, if you make a new friend and connect on Facebook, they’ll get to see basic profile information about you as well as a general idea of your wit and interests based on recent Wall posts.
But what they’re very unlikely to see is the moment you got that promotion, or the frequency with which your relationship status has changed, or the fact that you appeared on American Idol.
Those kinds of nuggets, which show a more complete picture of who you are, are lost in the way Facebook is presented now.
Games on Facebook are mostly a collection of new properties, like “FarmVille” and “CityVille,” which didn’t exist before becoming popular time-sinks on the world’s largest social network. A start-up called Kabam is trying to change that with a new game based on “The Godfather” that’s the most high-profile effort yet to blend an iconic Hollywood movie series with Facebook.

Kabam has cut a deal with Paramount Pictures to license “The Godfather” for a Facebook game it has begun testing called “The Godfather: Five Families.” The companies aren’t disclosing the financial terms of the deal.

Based on user feedback from its June beta release, Skype has now rolled out the final 5.5 build of its software which is Skype 5.5 adds deeper Facebook integration in that you can view which of your FB friends are online from it directly as well as being able to instant message them from the new ‘Facebook Contacts’ tab. The ability to view and update your Facebook status is also possible as well as being able to view and ‘like’ posts from your wall directly from Skype Home. 
Focusing more on Skype specific functions, there has been a number of updates made to improve general Skype calling with better controls for video and group video calling in Windows as well as more solid video calling reliability and some design changes to help make things a little easier in all.
