Google will start a public test of a new Gmail feature that will automatically label certain types of mass and automated e-mail so that users can more easily recognize and assign proper priority to them.

The idea is to make the Gmail inbox more organized and help users more quickly distinguish these types of messages from other more personal ones that are sent to them exclusively and that may be more important.

The feature is called Smart Labels and needs to be activated from the Labs tab on the Gmail Settings section of the account. When it’s on, Smart Labels creates three labels called Bulk, Forums and Notifications, Google announced on Wednesday.

Looking for a small size feature phone? THe LG GD880 will fit the bill. The first sight of it reminds me of the minis from various manufacturers, all trying to outbid one another to make it more compact and handy.

Finished in polished black with silver lining, this phone looks very unique just like the LG BL40 which is longer in size. It has icons and widgets similar to those you commonly see on Android phones.

The GD880 uses a 3.2″ TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M Colors of Size 480 x 854 pixels and is powered by the ARM11 processor which is used in the original iPhone 3G.

Dell Intros Latitude ON FLASH Feature

Dell today introduced a new feature for its Latitude business notebooks. ON | FLASH is an instant-boot feature with a graphical interface, allowing users access to email, Internet with Flash support, Skype, and a few other features. It runs off of a small flash memory module in certain Dell Latitude notebooks; the benefit of running off flash memory is that ON | FLASH is cheaper than the original Latitude ON introduced earlier this year.
