This Fujitsu Toshiba masterpiece going by the name of IS12T comes in a couple of fantastically loud colors or your choice of black, and it runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. PlayStation Store, Qriocity returning to Japan this week, completing global PSN restoration

Sony’s ‘Welcome Back’ campaign may have drawn to a close a bit early, but the PlayStation Network won’t make its full return to Japan until later this week. As of July 6th, Japanese gamers will once again be able to access the PlayStation Store and Qriocity, bringing an end to a nearly three-month suspension enacted after April’s widespread data breach. These services have already been reintroduced across other parts of the globe, but Sony encountered notably stiffer resistance in its homeland, where authorities demanded assurance of the PSN’s security before allowing it to relaunch within their borders. Apple Delays Launch Of IPad 2 In Japan Following Disaster

Apple said it would delay the planned launch of its latest iPad in Japan following the recent earthquake and tsunami that have devastated the country.

The Cupertino, Calif.-based gadget maker had planned to begin sales of the iPad 2 on March 25 alongside 25 other countries in various points around the globe.

“We are delaying the launch of iPad 2 in Japan, while the country and our teams focus on recovering from the recent disaster,” Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris said, adding that a new launch date hasn’t been set.

Japan Toys with Battery-Rechargeable Taxis

Japan’s Agency for Natural Resources and Energy has begun funding a field test of electric vehicles (EVs) with replaceable batteries. The test consists of three EVs, each one used as a taxi, which can putter into a battery replacement station built in Tokyo and have its battery replaced in about 60 seconds.

“It is much faster than charging a battery,” Better Place Japan said. “So, it will drastically improve the convenience of electric vehicles.”

All three taxis are stationed in Roppongi Hills in Tokyo and are operated by Nihon Kotsu Co Ltd. Powering the taxis are rechargeable lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries made by A123 systems, each with a capacity of 17kWh.
