Asus Launches its Eee PC 1215T Seashell Netbook

Asus launches its new Eee PC 1215T Seashell Netbook that comes with a 12.1-inch LED-backlit HD LCD display that has a 1366×768 pixel resolution. The new Eee PC 1215T is powered by the AMD Neo Platform which utilizes a Athlon II Neo K125 1.7GHz single core processor, ntegrated Radeon HD4250 graphics along with a 320GB Hard Drive and 2GB of RAM.

Other noteworthy specifications of the Eee PC 1215T includes a 0.3 Megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI port, stereo speaker, Microphone and runs the Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit OS. Fujitsu LifeBook MH380 PineTrail Based Netbook

Intel’s PineTrail platform release is around the corner and more netbooks are hitting the FCC with the new chipset. The Fujitsu LifeBook M380 based on PineTrail is spotted with modest specification details.

The netbook will include Intel’s Atom N450 1.66GHz processor with on-die graphics engine and memory controller. This setup will reduce the current 3-chip design to 2-chip design that will decrease system complexity and result in lower power draw. However, performance improvements might not be a part of this upgrade. The 10.1-inch LCD will have 1,366 x 768 resolution. Connectivity includes Atheros Wi-Fi b/g/n and Realtek Ethernet.

Matala Releases R108T Convertible Netbook

Matala has introduced the R108T, a new convertible netbook with a touchscreen display. The netbook comes in striking colors with a budget sensibilities, starting at only $435.

The netbook includes an Intel Atom N270 1.60GHz processor along with 1GB DDR2 RAM and a 160GB Hard disk. The 10-inch rotating resistive touchscreen display comes with 1024×600 screen resolution. There is Wi-Fi b/g/n, Ethernet, 1.3MP webcam, multi-format card reader, audio ports and two USB 2.0 ports. The default OS is Windows 7. It’s available in Ferrari Red, Piano Black, Coffee, Champagne and Gold colors.

The netbook comes with a 3,400mAh battery which should be good enough for more than three hours of runtime.

The convertible R108T features a swiveling 10″ 1024×600 touchscreen display, and comes packaged with the touch-friendly Windows 7. Beyond that, the specs are standard for the netbook genre – 1.6GHz Atom N270, 1GB DDR2 RAM and a 160GB HDD. There is a 1.3MP integrated webcam as well as 2 USB ports, VGA, and a card reader.
