Onkyo R425 14-inch Notebook PC

Onkyo Japan has announced its new entry-level Notebook PC dubbed the R425. It comes equipped with a 14-inch LCD LED-backlit display that delivers a 1366768 resolution, it gets the power of an Intel Core i5-2410M Processor from the Intel Sandy Bridge Series, up to 500GB of Hard Drive storage and 4GB of RAM.

Other noteable specs available with the new Onkyo R425 includes wireless internet connectivity with support for WiFi 802.11b/g/n, there is a Blu-ray drive, USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI output and a SDXC memory card reader.

Samsung Sens RF712 3D 17.3-inch Notebook

10 Ways to Make a Notebook Look Cheap

Every year at LAPTOP, we test hundreds of different notebooks. That’s hundreds of keyboards to type on, touchpads to stroke, buttons to press, and webcams to stare at. After playing with so many systems over the years, I’ve gotten a good sense of what makes a notebook feel like a premium product and what should give a buyer pause.

Sandy Bridge, Intel’s Next-Gen Notebook Processors Coming Early 2011

The Intel Developer Forum kicked off today and, for an opening salvo, Intel announced an update to the Core i3, i5, and i7 CPUs currently crunching data inside every modern notebook with an Intel sticker on its chassis. Christened Sandy Bridge, this new generation of Intel CPUs will be available in January 2011 and will focus on managing  everyday, graphically-demanding tasks (HD video streaming, 3D gaming, video editing, and multitasking) on the CPU level.
