ESRB launching new PSA; possible global game rating system coming soon

The ESRB is teaming up with Penny Arcade to launch a new PSA campaign for the game ratings system. Also, ESRB president Patricia Vance ponders unified global game rating.

The video game industry has faced a few political attacks recently: A violent video games tax earlier this month from Oklahoma legislator Fourkiller, and most notably, Californias push to ban violent video games last year. And while these actions may have flown under the banner of parental aid, what about the ESRB?

Hard Reset PC FPS gets a release date, system requirements breakdown

Polish developer Flying Wild Hog confirms a September 13 release date and system requirements for its upcoming dark sci-fi FPS for PCs, Hard Reset.

Youve got to hand it to Flying Wild Hog, the Polish developer behind Hard Reset. No one had ever heard of the upcoming first-person shooter for PC platforms until mid-July 2011, when a trailer and the first details emerged on what was described as a dark sci-fi FPS in the vein of works like Blade Runner.
