Internet giant Google has announced another significant acquisition: the company has announced it plans to acquire ITA Software for some $700 million in cash. ITA develops the reservations systems used by many of the world’s major airlines as well as many online travel services, including Orbitz, Hotwire, Bing Travel, FareCompare, and others. B
Called the Solar Sound, a solar-powered Bluetooth speaker specially by Devotec for travelers, also dubbed as first of its kind. The Solar Sound speaker offers great portability; once exposed to the sun, it can then collect sun juice and store in its internal battery for up to 8 hours of continuous music playback.
The Devotec Solar Sound speaker supports wireless Bluetooth connectivity which allows the users to beam music from their players (phone or MP3 player) to the speaker wirelessly. The supported Bluetooth profiles also allow “commands” to be sent remotely between the player and the Devotec speaker. Rea
